in the previous lesson we found out that it would be beneficial to film one long cut which we can cut back to if our other footage is not satisfactory. This has given us the idea to film a long scene with all three of us 'singers' dancing, or perhaps something else.
The lyrics to 'Don't cha' during the verse are quite simple so we should be able to tick off the Goodwin's theory of music/ lyrics.
We will be dressed as females to imitate the voyeuristic ideas portrayed by Goodwin.

Pussycat Dolls- Don't Cha
We chose this because we think it would be easy to act out, portray voyeurism on jacks god body and meet genre characteristics.
Previous students video analysis
This music video is on 'Heart skipped at beat' by 'The xx'.
Genre Characteristics: Indie music - quite slow beat, calm, slow cuts to match the beat, showing a story between a man and a woman also relating to there being a male ad female singer in the song.
Visual/Lyrics: When on the piano there is a close up of the manual script which has some of the lyrics on it when it says it in the song, the lyrics are to do with two people wanting to be/stay together and this is shown through them being in the same locations but at different times also using effects
Visual/Music: The cuts were in time with the beat of the music
Need to sell the artist: There was 'XX' written in different locations on different objects to show who the artist is
Voyeurism: The two people are dressed quite smartly, cat looks fluffy.
